Sebastian Engelhart

Sebastian Engelhart is the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Elevate where he is responsible for the platforms growth strategy and evaluation of capital deployment and risk management at a project-, portfolio-, and corporate-level. Sebastian also heads up much of Elevate’s business development, origination and M&A work.

Prior to Elevate, Sebastian was the Senior Director of M&A at Strata Clean Energy where he oversaw both Strata’s corporate M&A activity & all development project acquisition and disposition sales across the +100 project, 15GW portfolio. He also acted as Chief of Staff to Strata’s President and Chief Development Officer, working closely together to run the Development business and in that time was partly responsible for contracting 2,500MW of solar and over 4,000MWh of BESS. Before joining Strata, Sebastian worked as a management consultant for Bain & Co. advising companies across a spectrum of industries.

Sebastian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
